Biography
As a visual artist, I work with photography as my main medium, as well as with media such as text and film, to tell stories with the recurring themes human relationships, connection, freedom and perception.
My projects often have a documentary starting point and my conceptual approach and investigative attitude give these projects a layered, academic and anthropological dimension. Within this, the making process is not a hidden trajectory, but a visible and essential aspect that engages the viewer and invites reflection. This creates projects in which, in addition to telling a story, research is done and shown about the method of storytelling as well as the nature, workings and meaning of photography as a medium.
